What is the best weapon for blood infusion in Elden Ring? ›

Blood Nagakiba - Similarly to the Uchigatana, the Nagakiba is all the more powerful when infused with a blood Ash of War. It will cause bleed passively as is, but with an Ash of War, this can be doubled. If you're wielding the Uchigatana, this is a great choice for a dual-wield.

Arcane just increases the amount of bleed buildup per hit. If you don't use Arcane, it means it takes more hits to proc bleed. Of course, instead of putting points into Arcane, you could use Blood Grease or Bloodflame Blade on the weapon.

Weapons like katanas and curved swords are the best choices for builds that are focused on Blood Loss. Most of the katanas in Elden Ring come with Bleed build-up by default. Players can further enhance their katana by imbuing it with an Ash of War that allows the weapon to scale with Arcane.

Does not scale with Arcane even when wearing the Dragon Communion Seal. As it is fire damage, it is buffed by the Fire Scorpion Charm and Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear and will set the Hand and Giant Hand enemies on fire rendering them incapacitated while dealing tons of damage to them.

It is still very good. Only real difference now is that you can't spam the weapon art and expect to win every fight.

The only Talisman that's directly related to this build is Lord of Blood's Exultation, which increases your attack power when blood loss occurs nearby. This Talisman can be obtained by killing Esgar, Priest of Blood inside the Leyndell Catacombs.

If your Occult stat is high then you're generally better off going for an Occult infusion rather than a Blood one (since it gives you slightly better base damage and drastically better scaling, to the point where the loss in buildup is relatively minor).

The only armor piece you want to make a priority pick is the White Mask. This mask will increase your damage whenever something Bleeds - similar to the Lord Of Blood's Exultation. The best part about the White Mask is that it stacks with the aforementioned Talisman, letting you double-dip every time you inflict Bleed.

It's pretty good for PvE. It has good scaling, can be buffed, has bloodloss and the AoW is half decent and hits pretty hard. Even without the bloodloss it's a good weapon so the bloodloss just kinda pushes it into the realm of top tier for PvE.

If you haven't, venture into the Mountaintops of the Giants to get this katana. It's the area past Leyndell, Royal Capital, so don't expect to get to it too early. When you approach the Church of Repose, far south of Castle Sol, you're invaded by the NPC Bloody Finger Okina.

Boosting Blood Incantations

Radagon Icon shortens spell casting time, allowing you to cast more quickly. The Lord of Blood's Exultation buffs both melee and spell damage by 20% when a nearby creature is inflicted with bleed, making it a potent choice for Blood Incantation users willing to fight in close range.

The Rivers of Blood katana is an extremely powerful weapon in Elden Ring, in no small part due to its ability to inflict blood loss and its Corpse Piler skill. Indeed, this weapon can be absolutely devastating, especially when it is supported by a complimentary build.

Sanguine Nobles wield Bloody Helices and Reduvias. The Sanguine Noble Set is dropped by Sanguine Noble (Invader) in the Consecrated Snowfield. This is an NPC who does not have the same model or moveset as the Sanguine Noble enemy, and who dual wields Reduvias.
