Bullet Train: Official trailer

Netflix has some high-speed action for you next month, as well as a fascinating true crime documentary and countless new series.

Soon-to-be hurtling into view is top movie Bullet Train (2022), where a diverse group of assassins with conflicting agendas board a train in Tokyo, unaware that their individual missions will collide in explosive ways. Brad Pitt stars as one of the assassins, a seasoned hitman with a mysterious past. As the train careers towards its destination, tensions escalate, alliances shift, and loyalties are tested, leading to a thrilling and tension-riddled journey filled with twists and betrayals. Pitt's character must navigate the mayhem to fulfil his own mission while confronting the ghosts of his past.

With a healthy 7.3 rating on IMDb, Bullet Train certainly has its fair share of fans, with one describing the movie as a 'relentless two hours of chaos'. User Jtindahouse posted: "I can't remember the last time I saw a film as full on as Bullet Train. It is two hours of relentless action. It's actually a little exhausting to watch. This is a very stylishly made film. It looks terrific. The acting is great and all the characters are very polished and cool. It's a lot of fun and there are endless cameos and twists and unexpected moments. The film certainly keeps you on your toes."

Elsewhere, Netflix will be screening the Hatton Garden (Miniseries), a British crime drama depicting the events of the infamous robbery conducted by a team of men all over 50. The notorious raid, one of the most audacious heists in British history, unfolded over Easter weekend in 2015.

A group of elderly thieves, dubbed the Bad Grandpas, drilled through a concrete wall to access the vault of the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Company in London's jewellery district. The meticulously planned operation resulted in the theft of millions of pounds worth of cash, jewels, and other valuables. The perpetrators demonstrated a huge amount of cunning and precision, leaving authorities baffled and sparking widespread fascination with their daring exploits.

And if that doesn't float your boat, there's also The Final: Attack on Wembley (2024), a fascinating documentary on the Euro 2020 showdown between England and Italy, which saw 2,000 ticketless hooligans storm the iconic stadium. A subsequent report concluded the awful behaviour created a situation where people could have been killed. The FA have since apologised for the 'terrible experience' countless supporters experienced that night.
